Trust & Integrity
An AI in your hiring process should expect hard questions. Ours has answers.
Recio is built so every trust question has a concrete, defensible answer — and so a human is always in control of the decision.
The buyer's questions — and our answers.
“How do I trust the AI?”
You don’t hand it the decision. Recio is decision support: it surfaces strong candidates with evidence, and it never rejects anyone on its own. Your team sets the bar and makes every call.
“Is every candidate treated the same?”
Same competencies, same difficulty, same rubric at a given role and level — only the surface questions adapt. Fairer than identical questions, which leak and get gamed. And far more defensible.
“Can I trust the report?”
Every score links to a specific moment, with the full transcript and rubric available. Auditable, not a black box.
“How does it know what to ask?”
The engine calibrates topics and depth to the role and the candidate’s experience level — fundamentals for juniors, architecture and judgment for seniors.
Cheating costs more than doing the work.
Recio assumes every candidate has AI open in another tab — and verifies anyway. The labs are the first defense: a hands-on simulation is far harder to fake than a Q&A.
Hands-on labs — the primary defense
A live build / debug / design simulation is far harder to fake than a Q&A.
Browser-based liveness, nothing to install
Liveness checks are designed to run quietly during the interview. No plugins, no lockdown client.
Résumé cross-check & live authenticity probing
Claims are parsed, checked for internal consistency, then tested live. Specific, lived-in answers hold up. Rehearsed ones don’t.
Submit-is-final labs
Labs run in one real attempt — no endless retries to fish for the expected answer.
Identity & consent capture up front
Candidate identity and consent are captured up front, and data is kept isolated per organization.
We claim integrity features when they're live, not before — honesty here is part of the trust story.
Audit-ready by default.
Every candidate at a given role and level is measured against the same competencies, difficulty, and rubric. Scores tie to transcript evidence; reports are reviewable line by line. Recio is built to meet the fairness and transparency expectations of regulated US hiring — not retrofitted for them later.
What Recio is not.
Not an autonomous reject machine
A human makes every final call.
Not a trivia bank
No puzzles that leak and get gamed.
Not a surveillance product
Integrity checks serve fairness, not intrusion.
Straight answers.
“Do I have to replace my ATS?”
No. Recio runs alongside it: bring a role in, export the shortlist and reports as CSV or PDF, or share a report link. Direct connectors and SSO are on the near-term roadmap.
“How is candidate data handled?”
Candidate identity and consent are captured up front, data is kept isolated per organization, and every interview’s transcript and evidence are retained so decisions stay reviewable.
“What does Recio cost?”
We’re in our design-partner phase: early-access economics for teams that give structured feedback. General pricing comes with launch. Get in touch for your roles.
